VANILLA GRADERS

CASUAL- TEMPORARY POSITIONS

We are currently seeking suitable and highly motivated people to be based in our offices in Jais Aben Madang, Madang Province, Papua New Guinea

PURPOSE OF THESE POSITIONS

The purpose of these positions are to work in the back office of our vanilla processing faciltity. This will be to grade and size vanilla for export.

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of graders is to processing and final prepare vanilla for exporting it includes the following but is not limited to it:

Ability to work under pressure and the discipline to work with minimum supervision and to strict deadlines.
Ensure all buildings are kept clean at all times
Ensure handwashing and personal hygiene regimes for staff are adhered to.
Maintain quality throughout the process
Work towards International Food Standard Certification standards
Be willing to be trained to export goods

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 education with average grades above C.
A team player with strong leadership skills, networking & negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Additional experience in capacity building, training and development of a team.
Proven ability to adapt and perform well in high-pressure and dynamic work environments and situations.
Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Tok Pisin is required.
Strong interpersonal skills required, experience working in cross-cultural teams
Experience in databasing, monitoring, evaluation and report writing an advantage
Computer literate. Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel is desirable.
